Got questions? Here are our more frequently asked questions and all the answers!

We get lots of amazing questions from clients and VAs, so this month, we're doing a short and sweet (and stuffed full of info!) round-up of all Qs and all the As!

How many hours a week can I save?

Up to 20 hours per week! Our virtual EAs take on all the mundane and tedious tasks that eat up your time. And because we take care to train every executive assistant who joins our team AND pair them with the best-fit founders and CEOs, your work gets done faster.

Why should I pick Lisa & Co.?

Here at Lisa & Co., we take your business as seriously as you do. Our sky-high standards, talented assistants, diligent matching system, and experience all contribute to our culture of excellence.

Unlike the big virtual assistant organizations, our boutique agency is more flexible, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented. With services like vacation coverage and assistants with specialized (and honed) skills, we always have the answers and check with other team members for special problem-solving if needed. You'll never deal with a heaving bureaucratic company when you opt for the lean, quick, and dedicated team at Lisa & Co.

How did Lisa & Co. get started?

Great question, and we've got all the details right here. (It involves college athletes and the US Department of Agriculture – but probably not what you're thinking!)

How are the EAs chosen and vetted?

All our candidate references are verified throughout the hiring process, and every team member completes a thorough background check on their first day with us. In addition, we hire college-educated and U.S.-based assistants so we can match you with someone in a similar time zone.

We match our clients based on your most pressing needs and the executive assistant's skills, strengths, personality, time zones they service, and available bandwidth. (I know, I know, I should start a dating company, but my passion is really in helping founders and CEOs accomplish what matters in their lives and businesses.)

How are the EAs trained?

Our EAs come to Lisa & Co. with administrative or executive assistant experience, and they complete our internal training program.

What are the best things to outsource first?

Easy – hands down, it would be your calendar and inbox management. These are by far our most requested and most valuable services. You'll immediately feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders when you can hand off your calendar and show up where you need to be when you need to be there. And we'll handle your inbox headaches while creating some solid systems for keeping it cleaned up.

Just ask our client Lawrence who had 18,000 (yes, you read that right) unanswered emails in his inbox. If that feels like a hit that's too close to home – there is hope! And a fast solution.

That's our recommendation, but you can start outsourcing with anything you want – business or personal.

Will an individual or a team of EAs help me?

You're assigned a dedicated EA, but if you'd like to expand our support to your small team or more, we can provide a pair or small group of EAs. We also plan any time an assistant is out sick or takes a vacation, so you're never left without support.

What if I'm too overwhelmed to train someone?

Not a problem. Our EAs are experienced and can begin work with minimal instruction or take any SOPs you have in place and run with them.

We have lots of info here about what your assistant can do – from business travel to daily tasks to family life and everything in between. (And our blog is stuffed full of posts and ideas for how your assistant can help right from the start. This one and this one are great starting points!)

What skills do the EAs already have?

Because we've focused on creating a team of uniquely qualified assistants, we cover a lot of ground. Every team member comes to us with experience, and each EA has their own strengths and particular skill sets. (We have well over fifty years of experience combined within our team!) Therefore, we specifically discuss what you're looking for in a discovery call and match you to your ideal EA.

Can I talk to someone about what is the best fit for my business?

Absolutely. We offer standard virtual EA services to support you in your business and/or personal life. However, your experience with your virtual EA is tailored to your unique needs. If you'd like to know more about your options, you can book a no-obligation call with us right here

How does the investment work?

We offer monthly packages with a dedicated assistant beginning at 20 hours per month. Your assistant will be in touch with you regularly (based on your communication preferences) throughout the day/week/month to ensure you're getting the most value for the hours you have allotted.

What does the long-term support look like with Lisa & Co.?

You have the opportunity to secure your dedicated EA for up to one year with an annual service agreement.
